Everything you need to know about cold chain delivery with Oryzon.
General Services
We handle fresh produce, frozen meats, dairy, seafood, pharmaceuticals, floral arrangements, meal prep, beverages, and any temperature-sensitive specialty cargo. If it needs to stay cold, we can move it — compliantly and on time.
Our primary service area is the Greater Houston metro (Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Brazoria, Galveston counties) and short-haul Texas lanes including the Texas Triangle (Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio), Gulf Coast Corridor (Beaumont, Lake Charles, Baton Rouge), and South Texas (Corpus Christi, McAllen, Laredo).

We handle both LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) and FTL (Full Truckload) shipments — from a single pallet to a full load. Contact us to discuss your specific volume and frequency.
Yes. Multi-stop routes are one of our specialties — we run efficient, optimized multi-stop routes throughout Houston for restaurants, grocery distributors, and foodservice operators.
Temperature & Equipment
We handle frozen (−10°F to 0°F), chilled/refrigerated (33°F–41°F), ambient controlled (55°F–75°F), pharmaceutical grade (36°F–46°F or −4°F ultra-cold), and custom shipper-specified temperatures. Our equipment is set to your requirements before loading.
We use continuous IoT-based temperature sensors throughout every delivery. Readings are logged and timestamped in real time. Deviation alerts are triggered immediately if any temperature excursion occurs. Complete temperature logs are available for every shipment.
Our system sends an immediate alert to dispatch and the driver. Our protocol requires the driver to take corrective action and report to dispatch, who contacts the shipper. All deviations are documented in the delivery record.
All refrigerated equipment is pre-cooled or pre-set to the required temperature before loading begins. We do not load product into a truck that has not reached the specified setpoint.
FSMA & Compliance
Yes. Oryzon Cold Transport fully complies with FDA FSMA Subpart O — Sanitary Transportation of Human and Animal Food. This includes proper temperature controls, equipment sanitation, driver training, and complete documentation on every food shipment.
We provide sanitation logs, temperature records, driver certifications, allergen controls documentation, and timestamped proof of delivery. All records are maintained and available for FDA audit.
Yes. All drivers are trained on FSMA Subpart O requirements including proper temperature management, sanitation protocols, allergen separation, and documentation procedures.
Yes. Our digital recordkeeping system generates audit-ready reports including temperature logs, sanitation records, route history, and proof of delivery — available on demand.
